The Old Man of Storr

The Old Man of Storr is an iconic, massive basalt rock pinnacle on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, famous for its stunning views and popular hike as part of the Trotternish Ridge, with legends suggesting it's a petrified giant, and it features in films like Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman. The moderately challenging walk offers breathtaking panoramas but requires sturdy footwear due to steep, rocky, and potentially muddy terrain, attracting hikers and photographers to its otherworldly landscape. 

Portree

Portree is the capital and largest town of the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. It is a civil parish and lies within the Highland council area, around 74 miles from its administrative centre of Inverness. Portree has a harbour, fringed by cliffs, with a pier designed by Thomas Telford.

Isle of Skye bridge

The Skye Bridge is a 550-metre, two-lane road bridge connecting the Scottish mainland at Kyle of Lochalsh to the Isle of Skye at Kyleakin. Opened in 1995 to replace the ferry service, this reinforced concrete structure carries the A87 road, featuring a 40m high, 250m central span. It is free to cross, as tolls were removed in 2004. 

Eilean Donan Castle

Eilean Donan (Scottish Gaelic: Eilean Donnain) is a small tidal island situated at the confluence of three sea lochs (Loch Duich, Loch Long and Loch Alsh) in the western Highlands of Scotland, about one kilometre (5⁄8 mi) from the village of Dornie. It is connected to the mainland by a footbridge that was installed early in the 20th century and is dominated by a picturesque castle that frequently appears in photographs, film and television. The island's original castle was built in the thirteenth century; it became a stronghold of the Clan Mackenzie and their allies, the Clan MacRae

The Quiraing

The Quiraing is a breathtaking, 4-mile (6.5 km) loop walk on the Isle of Skye’s Trotternish Peninsula, featuring dramatic, volcanic, and landslip-formed scenery. It takes 2-3 hours to complete, with iconic rock formations like the Prison and Needle. The trail offers spectacular, otherworldly views, often considered a must-do hike in Scotland.
