This page describes how you can request deletion of your account and associated data for the PUE Driver mobile application, developed by Pickup Edinburgh (the developer name shown on the Google Play store listing).
How to request account and data deletion
- Open the PUE Driver app on your device and sign in if needed.
- Go to the Account (or Profile) section in the app.
- If an in-app “Delete account” or “Request account deletion” option is available, follow the instructions there.
- Alternatively, send an email to the address published on our website or in the app (e.g. via the Contact or Support page) with the subject “PUE Driver – Account deletion request” and include the email address associated with your driver account so we can identify it. We will process your request and confirm once the account and associated data have been deleted.
Data we delete
When we delete your account, we remove or anonymise the following types of data:
- Account and profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
- Address and vehicle preferences linked to your account
- Login credentials and authentication data
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers used for the app
- Your association with past reservations (e.g. as the assigned driver); reservation records may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form where required for operational or legal reasons
Data we may retain and for how long
We may retain some data for longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. tax, accounting, or dispute resolution):
- Transaction and earnings records: as required for tax and accounting (typically up to 7 years or as required by applicable law)
- Anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you: may be kept for analytics and service improvement
